Major crime and incident report
Monday, January 11, 2016
6:37 a.m.:
breaking and entering motor vehicle, George Street, resident reported his vehicle was broken into overnight, various items stolen;
7:30 a.m.: accident, 112 Russellville Road, 2005 Toyota spun on ice, no injuries, no tows;
7:42 a.m.: burglary/breaking and entering, Ponders Hollow Custom Flooring & Molding, 16 Ponders Hollow Road, caller reported business was broken into over the weekend, one of the windows was smashed, a chop saw and chainsaw were stolen;
8:20 a.m.: accident, 77 Mill St., 2014 GMC truck and 2000 Nissan Maxima, no injuries, no tows;
10:06 a.m.: vandalism, Sanford Apartments, 330 Elm St., woman reported finding bullet holes in the stairwell, she said a tenant had contacted police last month about shots from a possible pellet gun, police found four windows with damage from a BB or pellet gun;
10:16 a.m.: larceny, Franklin Street, woman reported that her medication was stolen, officers transported victim to the station to retrieve medication from a recent arrest;
3:11 p.m.: accident, 167 Western Ave. at 1 Lloyds Hill Road, one tow, patient refused transport;
10:45 p.m.: accident, Dunkin’ Donuts, 625 E. Main St., 2000 Ford Mustang and 2010 Subaru Forester, no injuries, no tows.
