12:35 a.m.: vandalism motor vehicle, Powdermill Village Apartments, 126 Union St., man reported that the back window of his vehicle had been smashed out;
10:18 a.m.: vandalism motor vehicle, Harvard Street, woman reported her vehicle was broken into and stereo controls vandalized;
11:11 a.m.: identity fraud, Tannery Road, party reported identity theft;
12:53 p.m.: breaking and entering motor vehicle, Oakwood Terrace Apartments, 200 Southwick Road, woman reported that her car was broken into and pocketbook was stolen;
3:06 p.m.: shoplifting, Walmart, 141 Springfield Road, employee reported that three men stole several hundred dollars worth of Pokeman cards and left in a black Hyundai Santa Fe, police located vehicle, all three suspects were released into the custody of parent/guardian, merchandise recovered;
4:29 p.m.: larceny, Burger King, 72 Main St., manager reported that an employee left his iPhone 4S on one of the tables and an older man took the phone, suspect left on foot towards Dunkin’ Donuts, police reviewed video surveillance; at 6:15 p.m. a party turned in a iPhone 4S to police that was found on the grounds of Burger King, phone returned to its rightful owner;
9:05 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Performance Music, 347 Elm St., Richard P. Halpy, 44, of 26 Stanley St., Springfield, arrested on charges of operating motor vehicle with license revoked and speeding.
