2:13 a.m.: Assist other police department, Southampton Road. Police received a report from Southampton Police that they were in pursuit of a vehicle approaching the Westfield-Southampton line. The vehicle struck a retaining wall, according to the log, and the driver fled the scene. An extensive search concluded but police were unable to locate a suspect.

5:42 a.m.: Vandalism motor vehicle, Leonard Avenue. Police received a report of a vehicle that was reportedly keyed. The incident is under investigation, according to police.

1:28 p.m.: Accident, Christopher Drive. Police received a report of a 2009 Toyota RAV4 that struck a concrete mailbox. No injuries were reported but the vehicle was towed. According to police, the operator claimed that they felt like something went wrong with the vehicle.

2:58 p.m.: Fraud, walk-in. Police received a report from a walk-in party who claimed that their bank account had a loss totaling $15,000. The incident is under investigation, according to police.

4:42 p.m.: Accident, Franklin Street and Summer Street. Police received a report for a two-vehicle accident involving a 2012 Nissan Sentra and a 2005 Kia Rio. According to the log, one person who was six months pregnant was involved in the accident. One person was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital via Westfield Fire ambulance and personnel and both vehicles were towed.

10:46 p.m.: Breaking and entering motor vehicle, Union Street. Police received a report of a vehicle that was reportedly entered that was unlocked. According to the report, a wallet was allegedly stolen and the incident was allegedly recorded on video. Police reported that they had a suspect in the incident, who was allegedly involved in a motor vehicle accident in Springfield.

10:49 p.m.: Motor vehicle violation and arrest, Southampton Road. Police stopped a vehicle after they reported that it allegedly had a defective rear driver side taillight. Police reported that the operator, Lakeam A. Bennett, 24, of Holyoke, reportedly had a warrant for his arrest. Police arrested him on the warrant.

11:52 p.m.: Motor vehicle theft of plates, Shepard Street. Police received a report of license plate that was reportedly stolen off a vehicle at an unknown time. No further information was provided.
