Major crime and incident report

The holiday made for a relatively quiet day for Westfield Police.
10:38 a.m.: Motor vehicle accident, East Mountain Road. Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a 2013 Toyota Scion and a 2009 Honda Civic. The crash resulted in no injuries, but one vehicle was towed.
3:06 p.m.: Medical emergency, Brookline Avenue. Police received a report of a male patient not responding along with dirty needles, possible cardiac arrest. Police responded along with Westfield Fire Department. Patient was transported to Baystate Noble by Westfield Fire paramedics. Unknown condition of victim.
5:33 p.m.: Disturbance, East Main Street. Police received a call about a group of five or six people fighting in front of a store on East Main Street. There were no weapons involved. Police reported that the altercation happened after one of the parties was driving in the parking lot and were allegedly cut off by the other party. A car horn was honked and arguing ensued. No charges were filed.
