Major crime and incident report

8:51 a.m.: Accident, Western Avenue. Police received a report of a three-vehicle crash involving a 2007 Honda Odyssey, a 2010 Subaru Outback and a 2012 Nissan Sentra. Police reported one person transported to Baystate Noble Hospital via Westfield Fire ambulance and personnel.
6:16 p.m.: Medical emergency, Russell Road. Police received a report initially of an infant that drowned and is unconscious, not breathing and blue. Westfield Fire ambulance and other personnel responded to the scene. Police reported that the victim was found unresponsive and was actually a 14-year-old male. Westfield Fire transported the victim to Baystate Noble Hospital.
6:31 p.m.: Accident, Union Street. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2014 Toyota Camry and a 2004 Ford Ranger. The Camry was reportedly parked and was struck by the other vehicle. No injuries were reported.
7:19 p.m.: Accident, Union Street. Police received a report from an off-duty officer who reported that someone struck a telephone pole and may be intoxicated. Westfield Fire ambulance and personnel responded to the scene because of a possible injury. One person was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital via ambulance and police reported that no charges were filed.
