1:40 a.m.: Disturbance, Elm Street. Police received a report of a disturbance on Elm Street. According to reports, two males were fighting in the area, but neither person wanted to press charges. No arrests made.
2:15 a.m.: Incapacitated person and arrest, Elm Street. Police responded to Elm Street, this time for a man passed out in a flower planter. Police initially requested an ambulance for the man, who was later identified as Jesse M. McClenahan, 33, of Westfield, but the man became violent toward police according to the report. Police eventually arrested McClenahan and charged him with assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. 3:09 p.m.: Larceny, Birch Bluffs Drive. Police received a phone call complaint about possible missing property from an address on Birch Bluffs Drive. According to police, a family allowed a female to stay with them for several days and after she left, the family reported belongings missing.
