1:25 a.m.: breaking and entering, Hanover Street, a caller reports her apartment was broken into and her laptop computer was stolen, the responding officer reports the caller said that she was away from the apartment from 6-9 p.m. and in her absence it was entered and a laptop computer and a videogame player were stolen, the woman said she suspects a neighbor is responsible, the officer reports he spoke with the neighbor who allowed him to inspect the residence but the missing property was not found;
2:20 a.m.: suspicious person, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports she was flagged down by a party on Elm Street who exhibited the classic symptoms of alcohol intoxication, the man declined to identify himself or where he lived and did not say why he flagged down the officer, the officer deemed the man to be incapable of caring for himself but when she attempted to place him in protective custody he attempted to strike her with his head, John Paul Rosario, 25, of 40 King St., was arrested for assault and battery on a police officer;
3:06 a.m.: incapacitated person, Bates Road, a patrol officer reports he observed a male party staggering in the roadway , the officer stopped and found that the man was obviously highly intoxicated, the officer provided the man a courtesy transport to a Russell Road address where his father accepted custody of him;
12:48 p.m.: animal complaint, Park Drive, a caller reports taking custody of a golden retriever dog, the animal control officer was notified and reports that the two-year-old dog was transported to the municipal animal shelter;
2:39 p.m.: larceny, Jannelle Drive, a caller reports his step-daughter stole his car and its title and traded the car in, the responding officer reports that the man said that the woman took his car and title to a dealer and traded the vehicle, see 1:45 p.m. Monday entry;
3:20 p.m.: animal complaint, Deer Path Lane, a caller reports a sick or injured skunk is living in a relative’s yard, the responding officer reports the skunk was dispatched and a use of force form was filed, the resident will dispose of the carcass;
7:48 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
10:22 p.m.: officer wanted, Klondike Avenue, a caller reports his cell phone was lost and he can’t retrieve it from the person who found it, the responding office reports that the caller said that after he lost his phone he was advised by a friend that a female party had called him from the phone asking for the owner, the man said he has since been unable to contact the finder, the officer reports he will follow up on the call and will file charges if the finder continues to be unavailable;

6:54 a.m.: breaking and entering, Franklin Street, a caller reports his vehicle was entered and property was stolen overnight, the responding officer reports the caller said that his unlocked vehicle had been parked in his driveway about 9 p.m. and at 6:30 a.m. he returned to it and found the contents had been disturbed, his wallet containing his driver’s license and credit cards was stolen but cash in the glove compartment was not taken, the caller said that a sibling’s unlocked vehicle was also entered but nothing was taken, see 8:50 a.m. entry;
6:59 a.m.: vandalism, Shaker Farms Country Club, 866 Shaker Road, a caller reports vandalism to the golf course, the responding officer reports the owner said that some time after he last checked the property about 10 p.m. three-foot-long sections of the 18th green were pulled up, obscenities and what appear to be initials were written in the sand of a bunker and patio furniture from the nearby clubhouse was thrown around;
8:50 a.m.: breaking and entering, Chestnut Street, a caller reports her vehicle was entered and property was stolen overnight, the responding officer reports the caller said that her unlocked vehicle had been parked in her driveway about 10 p.m. and at 8:30 a.m. she returned to it and found that it had been entered and three CDs and $3 in coin had been stolen, found in the vehicle were a driver’s license and a credit card stolen from a vehicle on Franklin Street;
9:25 a.m.: breaking and entering, Russell Road, a caller reports his wife’s vehicle was entered and property was stolen overnight, the responding officer reports the victim said that her unlocked vehicle had been parked in her driveway about 7 p.m. and in the morning she returned to it and found a door ajar, the woman said that her designer purse was stolen, at 10:33 a.m. a caller from Stratfield Avenue called to report that a purse and its contents were found scattered in her yard, the property was found to be everything stolen from the woman’s van except her check book;
12:07 p.m.: breaking and entering, Franklin Street, a caller reports his vehicle was entered and property was stolen overnight, the responding officer reports the caller said that his mother’s locked vehicle had been parked in his driveway and about 8:30 a.m. he used it and found the contents were in disarray but thought nothing of it until he returned and he brother looked for his backpack which was found to be missing from the vehicle, property found to be stolen includes a video game player and games, a GPS device, two knives and three chargers, the officer noted that although the caller insisted that the SUV had been locked there were no signs of forcible entry;
1:09 p.m.: breaking and entering, Gillette Avenue, a caller reports his vehicle was entered and property was stolen overnight, the responding officer reports the caller said that his unlocked pickup truck had been parked in his driveway about 11 a.m. and the next day about 8 a.m. he returned to it and found six wrenches stored behind a seat had been stolen, the man said that previous thefts from his vehicle had not been reported;
1:45 p.m.: recovered property, Main Street, Holyoke, a detective reports a vehicle reported stolen Sunday has been recovered in Holyoke, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
1:49 p.m.: breaking and entering, Susan Drive, a resident came to the station to report his vehicle was entered and property was stolen overnight, the responding officer reports the complainant said that his unlocked vehicle had been parked in his driveway about 6:30 p.m. and at noon he returned to it and found about $20 in coin and a gift card had been stolen;
2:00 p.m.: breaking and entering, Hubbard Street, a caller reports her vehicle was entered and property was stolen overnight, the responding officer reports the caller said that her unlocked vehicle had been parked in her driveway at 7 p.m. and about 6:30 a.m. she returned to it and found that it had been entered and her GPS device, iPod, check book and two gift cards had been stolen;
3:49 p.m.: breaking and entering, Fairfield Avenue, a caller reports her vehicle was entered and property was stolen overnight, the responding officer reports the caller said that her unlocked vehicle had been parked in a friend’s driveway at 10:30 p.m. and at 8 a.m. she returned to it and found that it had been entered and a blank check had been stolen;
4:25 p.m.: breaking and entering, Susan Drive, a caller reports her vehicle was entered and property was stolen overnight, the responding officer reports the caller said that her unlocked vehicle had been parked in her driveway at 9 p.m. and in the morning she returned to it and found that it had been entered and her GPS device, DVD player and about 40 DVD movies had been stolen;
4:49 p.m.: suspicious vehicle, Tin Bridge, Ponders Hollow Road, a caller reports there is an unattended vehicle with the windows down parked in the area of the tin bridge, the responding officer reports the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard for safe keeping;
4:58 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
5:17 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Meadow Street, a traffic bureau officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
7:53 p.m.: breaking and entering, Otis Street, a caller reports his vehicle was entered and property was stolen overnight, the responding officer reports the caller said that his unlocked vehicle had been parked in his driveway overnight and when he returned to it he found the speakers and amplifier of his car stereo had been stolen.
