1:30 p.m.: Larceny, White Street. Police reported that a former resident who was in the process of being evicted from a local complex made a claim of $800 stolen from his apartment. No other information was provided and there were no suspects or arrests.
3:36 p.m.: Shoplifting, 261 East Main St., Radio Shack. Police received a report of a female suspect who allegedly stole two Apple products and a keyboard from Radio Shack, which totaled approximately $260. The shoplifter, after leaving the store, allegedly got into a vehicle that was being driven by another party. Police reported that this suspect is the same one that was involved in a robbery from the same location on June 19.
6:29 p.m.: Suspicious action, North Elm Street. Police received a call from a resident who reported that the word “bomb” was written inside of an elevator at a local apartment complex. Caller said that the word appeared to be written with either a finger or an eraser of some kind. No other information at the time of the report, but no evacuation or significant response was requested by police.
