10:03 a.m.: Traffic complaint or motor vehicle violation and arrest, Harvard Street. Police received a report from an off-duty officer who reportedly recognized two people in a vehicle that the officer reportedly knew had no licenses and an alleged warrant out for one of their arrests. Police stopped the vehicle and arrested Derek W. Webb, 24, of Westfield, and charged him with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and also arrested Kayla R. Bolio, 24, of Westfield, on a warrant.
1:29 p.m.: Accident, School Street. Police received a report of a delivery truck that had reportedly knocked down a street sign and also a tree branch. Also according to the report, the truck had left the scene. Police reported that they contacted the driver through the driver’s supervisor. The driver, according to police, claimed that the road was narrowed due to snowbanks and they believed they had only struck a curb and snowbank.
3:47 p.m.: Traffic or motor vehicle complaint, walk-in. Police received a report from a walk-in party who claimed that another driver had allegedly driven them off the roadway on Russell Road, thus causing them to crash into a snowbank. The officers were given a license plate but there was no vehicle found.
