12:20 a.m.: Accident, Elm Street. Police reported that there appeared to have been an accident near the clocktower on Elm Street, where someone reportedly struck a street sign, knocking it down. There were no vehicles on scene but police reported that the vehicle was later found and according to the driver, they had reportedly become confused and drove onto the curb to avoid traffic.
1:49 a.m.: Disturbance, Elm Street. Police received a report of a disturbance in front of a bar on Elm Street. Police reported that yelling and screaming was occurring at the scene, and a person also had a laceration to their finger, which prompted a Westfield Fire ambulance response. The ambulance transported the injured person to Baystate Noble and police arrested Sergio M. Cozzaglio, 23, of Westfield, and charged him with disorderly conduct.
9:35 a.m.: Burglary/breaking and entering, Elm Street. Police received a report that sometime overnight someone allegedly entered a resident’s apartment and reportedly stole everything out of the resident’s wallet. Police are investigating.
9:36 a.m.: Accident, Pleasant Street. Police received a report of a three-vehicle crash involving a box truck, a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire and a 2001 Honda Accord. According to the police report, the box truck had apparently struck two parked vehicles that were unoccupied. Police requested no tow truck and no injuries were reported.
