12:29 a.m.: suspicious activity, Elm Street, patrol officer reports observing a male urinating in public, citation issued, see following entry;
1:32 a.m.: disturbance, Conner Avenue, caller reports second floor residents is causing a disturbance and threatening to fight with other residents, officer reports subject of previous entry and another male had just returned from a bar and were being too loud, both subject agreed to keep quiet;
6:42 a.m.: breaking and entering a motor vehicle Parker Avenue, unlocked motor vehicle entered, cash and debit card taken;
8:10 a.m.: breaking and entering a motor vehicle, Prospect Street Extension, unlocked vehicle entered, change and an electronic device taken;
8:55 a.m.: assist other agency, fire, motor vehicle, westbound lane on Massachusetts Turnpike, state police report that a tractor-trailer truck carrying paper is fully involved, Engine 3 dispatched, deputy chief requesting that Blandford Fire Department also dispatch engine and tanker trucks to the scene, engine 3 captain reports 100 to 250 gallons of diesel fuels leaked from the TT unit, environmental remediation company will also be responding, engine 3 cleared scene at 10:23 a.m.;
9:04 a.m.: breaking and entering a motor vehicle, Prospect Street Extension, unlocked motor vehicle entered, coat, tools and cash taken;
10:36 a.m.: identity fraud, female came to the station to report that she was contacted by the IRS regarding her tax report, subject said that she does not file tax reports because her income is below the filing threshold, incident under investigation;
5:21 p.m.: traffic complaint, South Maple Street, caller reports disabled tractor-trailer truck has been obstructing traffic all day, officer reports that the truck was a moving van unloading property of a new resident, officer reports that the truck was clearly visible with flashing lights and that both lanes were open for traffic;
5:42 p.m.: loitering, Thomas Street parking lot, caller reports youths riding bicycles in the lot and are being very noisy, officer reports locating the youths and advising them to utilize the skate park behind the South Middle School;
5:47 p.m.: shoplifting, arrest, Home Depot, store security reports subject purchased two faucets which he brought out to his vehicle, subject then returned to store and brought two more of the same model of faucet to the service desk, along with the sales receipt and attempted to get a refund, Sean A. Carter29, of 44 Basket St., Huntington, charged with shoplifting property valued at more than $100 by asportation and larceny of property valued at less than $250 by false pretense;
7:01 p.m.: breaking and entering a motor vehicle, Montgomery Road, unlocked motor vehicle entered, cash taken;
9:05 p.m.: officer wanted, arrest, Parker Avenue, caller reports being assaulted by another resident of apartment, officer reports incident occurred while two males arguing about which television program to watch, Brian J. Herrick, 35, of 14 Parker Ave., charged with assault and battery in a domestic relationship;
9:22 p.m.: attempted breaking and entering, 700 Russell Road, caller reports female attempting to gain forced entry into an apartment, officer reports female broke window, officer contacted the resident of that apartment who stated it was OK that the female broke the window to gain access, officer reports information will be sent to landlord as well;
10:35 p.m.: breaking and entering, larceny, W@est Silver Street, caller reports returning to residence and finding entry gained through back door, caller reports food (P&J sandwich) was consumed, but that no property appears to have been taken;
10:55 p.m.: noise complaint, 23 Summer St., caller reports third-floor tenants are having a party and the noise and loud music are disturbance here sleeping children, officer reports that the music could be heard from the first floor and that the third-floor residents took several minutes to respond to the officers knocking on the front door, several people attempted to leave through the back door during that delayed response, residents advised that because of multiple police responses for noise complaints (5), the third-floor residents may be charged, the subjects were advised not to cause further disturbance to other occupants of the building.

1:02 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, arrest, Main Street, officer reports vehicle stopped for erratic operation and field sobriety given to operator, James A. Mills, 23, of 34 Morningside Drive, charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, speeding, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and injury from mobile3 cell phone use, and possession of a class B narcotic;
1:04 a.m.: suspicious activity, Elm Street, patrol officers observed a male attempt to jump over the railing in front of the Westfield District Court and fail to clear the railing, falling head first into the roadway, officers report subject highly intoxicated, subject issued a verbal warning was released into the custody of a sober friend;
1:18 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, arrest, Southampton Road, officer reports subject was found slumped over inside a motor vehicle, 52-year-old male subject was highly intoxicated and taken into protective custody, vehicle towed from scene;
7:17 a.m.: environmental response, Massachusetts Turnpike, westbound lane, 35-mile marker, state police report a tractor-trailer truck is disabled and leaking fluids, Department of Environmental Protection emergency response team on scene, engine 3 cleared scene at 7:46 a.m.;
7:19 a.m.: motor vehicle accident, Russellville Road, state police dispatcher, Northampton, reports a person reporting an accident, no injuries, officer reports vehicle struck utility pole, taking out the bottom of the pole, Westfield Gas & Electric Department notified and dispatched repair crew.
