10:04 a.m.: 
city ordinance violation, St. Dennis Street, officer reports citation issued for unregistered motor vehicle stored on property;
10:07 a.m.: assist other agency, 410 Southampton Road, officer reports motor vehicle parts stored in yard, Building Department code enforcement officer will further investigate;
10:17 a.m.: animal complaint, 507 Southampton Road, caller reports noise complaint, officers and animal control dispatched and found four hens, three roosters and unhatched eggs in a storage trailer at this location, animal control determined that the roosters were being used for cock fights, birds and eggs were taken into custody and brought to animal shelter, patrol sergeant requested that the police code enforcement officer and the Building Department and Health Department code enforcement officers respond to scene, investigating officer spoke with property owner who was renting trailer to a resident of 13 Russell Road, owner had been told by renter that he was storing auto parts in the trailer, owner advised renter to remove his property from the storage trainer, officer reports information taken;
10:20 a.m.: officer wanted, East Bartlett Street, caller reports fence damaged when hit by truck, officer advised citizen to seek civil action, see 11:15 a.m. entry;
10:58 a.m.: property found, Fairfield Avenue, citizen came to stattion with a bag he found on his lawn, bag contained two pellet guns and other related items, officer reports information taken and items tagged for storage;
11:15 a.m.: vandalism, East Bartlett Street, citizen reports fence damaged, information taken;
11:35 a.m.: brush fire, area of CVS Pharmacy, 427 East Main St., Engines 4 and 5 dispatched, fire extinguished
2:14 p.m.: shoplifting, Walmart, 141 Springfield Road, subjects left store with several cases of soda, loss prevention provided description of subjects and their motor vehicle, West Springfield police report locating and stopping the vehicle in their community, incident remains under investigation;
3:14 p.m.: disturbance, 10 East Bartlett St., caller reports college-related gathering, officer reports 10 people present to witness marriage, by Justice of the Peace, of two Westfield State University students prior to graduation this weekend, wedding party left for another location;
5:27 p.m.: shoplifting, Big Y supermarket, 471 East Main St., loss prevention reports a person was attempting to leave the store with health care products and without paying for those items, loss prevention confronted the subject and a physical altercation ensued, loss prevention detained the subject on the ground, officer reports Joshue Patten, 26, of 10 Spring St., charged with shoplifting by asportation;
6:48 p.m.: liquor law violation, Nook Café, 8 Franklin Street, caller reports that her 18-year-old friend is consuming alcoholic beverages at that location, officer reports subject was not found at The Nook, officer reports information taken;
7:08 p.m.: brush fire, East Bartlett Street, Engine 4 dispatched, fire extinguished;
7:67 p.m.: disturbance, 75 Danek Drive, caller reports he was punched in the face by a resident of this location, officer requesting ambulance to transport caller to Noble Hospital for treatment of facial injuries, officer took information from a witness of the assault, criminal complaint issued to resident.
