6:22 a.m.: Accident, intersection of Broad St. and Court St. Police noticed damage done to curb and base of a traffic light post, but did not see any vehicles involved. Police also had no suspects at time of report.
3:40 p.m.: Accident, 868 Southampton Rd. A 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport and a 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue were involved in an accident in the area of the address listed. No injuries were noted.
6:01 p.m.: Larceny. Victim walked into Westfield Police Department and reported to police that they had received a stolen iPhone. According to police, they found the phone through Facebook and purchased it for $50. Following purchase, they brought phone to Sprint to activate it. It was then that the victim was notified that the phone was stolen.
6:30 p.m.: Assault. Police responded to reports of a man who was assaulted. According to police, the man was possibly assaulted for medication. Christopher Lopez, 29, homeless, and Amy Savoy, 33, of 87 Meadow St., were arrested in connection with assault. Lopez was charged with assault and battery with serious bodily injury, as well as assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Savoy was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer.
