10:01 a.m.: larceny, Genesis Healthcare, 60 E Silver St., caller reports items taken from employees’ work station, officer reports items were secured and entry was made to access cash, officer requested assistance of a detective, detective bureau will investigate further;
10:51 a.m.: larceny, Whitaker Road, caller reports family is moving and was removing items from a gun safe, caller reports a handgun missing, officer reports the weapon was in a case or bag, a moving company was working at that location and may have not recognized what the contents of the case or bag were, officer reports attempting to contact moving company, remains under investigation;
12:59 p.m.: well-being check, Great River Bridge, northbound, caller reports youths swimming in the river, officer reports youths left the scene under his supervision;
1:01 p.m.: breaking and entering, larceny, Miller Street, caller reports entry made into residence, a laptop computer was taken, officer requesting a detective “to process” a window to see if fingerprints might identify suspect, theft remains under investigation by the detective bureau;
3:36 p.m.: well-being check, Broad Street in front of the Tavern Restaurant, caller reports that a confused female is behind the wheel of a motor vehicle, officer reports possible problems with medication, officer requesting ambulance, EMS dispatched to transport woman to Noble Hospital;
4:26 p.m.: suspicious activity, Free Street, caller reports subjects consuming alcohol behind a building, officer reports area search negative;
5:07 p.m.: vandalism to a motor vehicle, 19 Monroe St., caller reports rear window of a 1994 Volvo was shattered, officer reports four-inch hole in the safety glass, no evidence of what caused damage;
Parking violation, Ashley Street, officer reports a BMW was parked on the treebelt and blocking the sidewalk, vehicle owner was visiting the resident and had attempted to pull as far off the roadway as possible, owner moved vehicle into driveway;
8:45 p.m.: vandalism to motor vehicles, Powdermill Village parking lot, 126 Union St., caller reports paint of hood of a 2014 Nissan was scratched with a metal object, officer reports that a “B” was scratched into the paint and then a circle made around that letter, officer reports identical damage to a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria, a 2003 GMC Envoy, a 2008 Hyundai Azera, and a 1999 Ford Expedition, incident remains under investigation;
9:55 p.m.: disturbance, Orange Street, caller reports a large gathering , officer reports about 15 people were present around a bonfire, but not creating a disturbance, residents extinguished the fire and brought their guests inside the residence.
