It was a quiet day in the Whip City for police on May 18 with a big bust in the evening.
4:04 p.m.: Accident, Free St. Officer was driving on Free St. and came up on a car accident involving a 2008 Honda Civic and a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta. One person was transported to Baystate Noble for injuries.
6:03 p.m.: Arrest, drug possession, Southampton Road and Egleston Road. According to report, police witnessed Timothy Kasuba, 33, of 174 Balance Rock Road in Lanesborough, Mass., operating his vehicle and drifting into the breakdown lane. Police stopped him and after noticing Kasuba reaching into the center console of his vehicle, police said that they found 300 bags of heroin in the vehicle, in addition to heroin in Kasuba’s pockets.
