3:51 p.m.: Accident, Russell Road. A motorcyclist collided with another vehicle after trying to pass another. One person was reported injured and was transported to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.
4:37 p.m.: Hit and run, Dana St. A person reported that they had left their car parked at the location, and when they came out they noticed damage on the side of the vehicle. There were no charges, arrests or suspects.
5:57 p.m.: Accident, Oak St. and Mill St. intersection. Accident involving a 2011 Hyundai Sonata and a utility pole resulting in airbag deployment. No one was transported to the hospital.
11:10 p.m.: Breaking and entering arrest, Southwick Road. Derek Webb, 24, of 44 Mechanic St., and James Kosko, 36, of 123 Meadow St., were arrested after police reported that they forced their way into a home on Southwick Road. The two were said to have a gun and also assaulted one of the residents of the home, hitting them with an unknown blunt object. See related story in Wednesday May 25th Westfield News.
