11:20 a.m.: Vandalism, walk-in. Police received a report of a vehicle that was allegedly vandalized by having the roof lining inside the vehicle torn. Police were told that it may have occurred on May 19, on Clinton Avenue. Police had no further information.
12:47 p.m.: Accident, Union Street. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox and a 2014 Toyota Tacoma. One person was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital following the crash by Westfield Fire ambulance and personnel, and one vehicle was towed.
3:51 p.m.: Shoplifting and arrest, Big Y, East Silver Street. Police received a report of an alleged shoplifter that was in custody at the store. Police arrested Kenya Ceclia Sorrell, 31, of Springfield, and charged her with shoplifting by asportation and trespassing after they alleged that she had taken “four bags of shrimp.”
6:52 p.m.: Accident, walk-in. Police received a report from a walk-in party who claimed that they witnessed a tractor-trailer hit two posts around the green in the city. Police are investigating but no further information was available.
