7:49 a.m.: Motor vehicle theft, Hunter Slope. Police received a report of a vehicle that was reportedly stolen sometime before the time of the report. The keys, according to the report, were left in the vehicle. In addition, police received a report of items missing from a vehicle that was in the driveway along with the allegedly stolen vehicle. Police are investigating and have no further information. 

2:04 p.m.: Accident, Union Street. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2003 Saturn Ion and a 2013 Toyota Tundra. No injuries were initially reported, but police later requested an ambulance for one person. Westfield Fire ambulance and paramedics transported one person to Baystate Noble Hospital for treatment. 

2:12 p.m.: Disturbance, Meadow Street. Police received a report of two individuals reportedly fighting in the area, with two other individuals then coming out and “becoming involved.” Police investigated the situation, including a party who claimed that they and their child were allegedly assaulted. No further information was available. 

2:40 p.m.: Forgery/counterfeiting, Franklin Street. Police received a report of an alleged counterfeit $20 bill that was used at a store and “detected prior to purchase.” The suspect that allegedly used the bill left the scene with it. Police are investigating. 

6:06 p.m.: Accident, Holyoke Road and Springdale Road. Police received a report of a three-vehicle crash involving a 2003 Ford truck, 2002 Honda Odyssey and a 2012 Subaru Outback. Police requested three tow trucks to the area, and according to the report Westfield Fire ambulance and paramedics transported two people to Baystate Noble Hospital. A hydrant was also reportedly struck in the area and “moved it a little.” 

8:11 p.m. Accident, Russellville Road, Southampton line. Police received a report for a two-vehicle head-on crash involving a 2010 Ford Transit and a tractor-trailer. One tow truck was requested but no injuries were reported.
