10:01 a.m.: larceny, King Street, a caller reports aluminum valued at more that $1,000 was stolen from a job site, the responding officer reports the victim said that materials delivered for a construction project were stolen, a suspect was identified and an incident report was filed;
11:00 a.m.: larceny, Knollwood Drive, a caller reports the theft of a generator, the responding officer reports the complainant said that he last saw the generator stored in his garage in June;
11:42 a.m.: fire, Knollwood Drive, a caller report a basement fire, dual response dispatched, the responding officer reports that the original caller may have mistaken steam for smoke, the responding firefighters report a boiler failure had released steam;
12:05 p.m.: fraud, Southwick Road, a resident came to the station to report a fraudulent check was drawn on his business account, the responding officer reports a counterfeit check was presented but it was not paid;
12:16 p.m.: fire, Southampton Road, a caller reports smoke is coming from a neighbor’s basement, dual response dispatched, the responding firefighters report smoke had vented from the furnace in the basement;
1:09 p.m.: larceny, Court Street, a resident came to the station to report that a generator was stolen, the responding officer reports a generator used for an outside display was stolen and the shrub is was chained to was damaged;
6:18 p.m.: disturbance, Orange Street, a caller reports a friend went to gather possessions from a residence she had been staying at and was punched, the responding officer reports the putative victim did not wish to pursue the matter.
