4:58 p.m.: burglary/breaking and entering, Pine Street, a caller reports that her neighbors informed her that a previous tenant of her apartment had broken into the home by removing a screen window, another caller reports that she has footage of the incident, the responding officer filed a police report;
9:03 p.m.: warrant service, Union Street, dispatch reports that officers will be trying to serve an arrest warrant, the officers report that John J. Arbuckle III, 27, of 140 Union St., Westfield was placed under arrest on an active warrant;
9:33 p.m.: animal complaint, Llewellyn Drive, a caller reports that the neighbors dogs attacked and killed her cat, the responding officer filed an incident report;
10:44 p.m.: officer wanted, Taylor Avenue, a caller reports that he was walking along the bike trail when a group of youths in a van pulled up and began threatening him, the caller reports that the youths drove away and came back and threatened him again, the responding officer reports that and area search turned up negative and the caller was given a courtesy transport.
