Westfield

 

9:24 a.m.: animal complaint, Rambling Drive, a caller reports that she found a dog on her deck and brought it to the Westfield Regional Animal Shelter;

5:29 p.m.: disturbance, Southampton Road, a caller from a Southampton Road pizza place reports that a male customer threw a pizza at another employee before leaving the scene on a moped, the responding officer reports that the male party would be trespassed from the store in the future if he returned;

10:18 p.m.: fireworks, Farlaine Drive, a caller reports that a group of youths set off fireworks halfway up her front lawn before taking off in a vehicle, the responding officer reports that the caller did not see any damage to her lawn and that she only wanted the incident documented.

Southwick

10:14 a.m.: fire, Bonnie View Road, an illegal burn was reported and later extinguished;

1:05 p.m.: officer wanted, South Boat Ramp, a boater reports launching his boat at the ramp and his propeller became tangled with fishing line from a fisherman using the ramp to fish, the parties exchanged words and an officer advised the fishermen on regulations;

9:02 p.m.: officer wanted, Holcomb Road, the caller reports an unwanted female is coming to the house;

11:01 p.m.: fireworks, South Loomis Street, the source was located and ceased.
