10:06 a.m.: larceny, Westfield Technical Academy, 33 Smith Ave., a caller reports a registration plate was stolen from her vehicle, the responding officer reports there is no evidence to indicate how or where the plate became missing;
1:52 p.m.: larceny, Cowles Court, a resident came to the station to complain that a person stole her cell phone, the responding officer reports the phone may have been recovered in Chicopee;
2:05 p.m.: fire, East Silver Street, a caller reports a car fire, the responding firefighters report the resident had mostly extinguished the fire prior to their arrival but they soaked the vehicle to ensure there were no hot spots, the resident told the firefighters that he had been working on the vehicle’s fuel pump when a spark ignited the fuel, the firefighters report the damage was mostly limited to the passenger doors;
9:19 p.m.: found property, Stanley Park, Western Avenue, a detective brought to the station a cell phone reportedly found in Stanley Park, the responding officer reports he was unable to determine the owner of the phone which was held for safe keeping.
