WESTFIELD

9:52 a.m.: breaking and entering, A Street, a caller reports that he found someone inside his residence which is being renovated, the caller reports that the male party may be under the influence, the responding officer reports that Francisco Saillant, 54, of 413 Main St., Springfield was placed under arrest for breaking and entering to commit a misdemeanor;

3:04 p.m.: animal complaint, Apremont Way, an animal control officer reports that a domestic short haired orange male cat was trapped outside the Westfield Regional Animal Shelter overnight before being brought inside;

7:02 p.m.: motor vehicle violations, Springfield Road, patrol officers report that they pulled over a motor vehicle on Springfield Road, the officers report that Heather Lynn Tessier, 36, of 46 Northwest Rd., Westfield was placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant, the officers report that Michael W. Jette, 37, of 101 Franklin St., Westfield was placed under arrest for a subsequent offense of possession of a Class A drug, the officers report that Daniel J. Wall, 43, of 40 Shepard St., Westfield was placed under arrest for possession of heroin and possession of a Class B drug;

9:15 p.m.: animal complaint, Farnham Lane, a caller reports that an unfamiliar cat is in her driveway harassing her own cat, the caller reports that she attempted to pick up and move the unknown cat when it bit her and continued harassing her cat, the responding animal control officer reports that the cat was captured and brought to the Westfield Regional Animal Shelter where it would be quarantined for 10 days because it bit someone.
