Westfield
7:54 a.m.: recovered motor vehicle, City View Road, a caller reports that an unknown vehicle with no license plates was discovered on a job site after not having been there the previous evening, the responding officer reports that the vehicle was identified as belonging to a man in East Longmeadow and was determined to have been stolen from there, the officer reports a tow truck was requested to return the vehicle to the owner;
1:08 p.m.: animal complaint, Hillside Road, a caller reports that a long-haired black cat has been wandering her neighborhood for a few weeks and she managed to confine it in her home, the responding animal control officers report that the cat was transported to the Westfield Regional Animal Shelter;
2:40 p.m.: motor vehicle accident, Union Avenue, a caller reports a two-vehicle accident with no injuries but with damage to one of the vehicles, the responding officer reports that a tow truck was requested to remove one of the vehicles from the scene;
2:50 p.m.: brush fire, Springfield Road, multiple callers report a brush fire, the responding firefighters report that the fire had been extinguished prior to their arrival;
9:06 p.m.: motor vehicle violations, Elm Street, a police detective reports pulling over a motor vehicle, the responding officer reports that Segundo Serrano, 41, of 140 Union St., Westfield was placed under arrest for possession of a class A substance and possession of a class B substance.

1:08 p.m.: fire investigation, Woodside Circle, firefighters report an illegal burn on Woodside Circle, the firefighters report that the person responsible for the fire were advised to extinguish it.
