8:48 a.m.: Accident, Franklin Street and Washington Street. Police received a report from Russell State Police that an accident occurred involving a tractor trailer and a 2015 Nissan Altima and 2014 Ford Fusion. According to police, the tractor trailer pulled out into the street, causing the Fusion driver to hit her brakes suddenly and the Altima collided with the back-end of the Fusion. No injuries reported or tows needed.
10:38 a.m.: Larceny, walk-in. Police received a report from a resident who claimed that a family member may have stolen their medication. The street value of the medication was about $600, police said. No arrests were made nor were charges filed.
4:41 p.m.: Vandalism, Taylor Avenue. Police received a report of two tires that were slashed on a resident’s vehicle sometime overnight. No suspects named or arrests made.
