Major crime and incident report
Monday, Oct. 10, 2016
10:16 a.m.: Incapacitated person, North Elm Street. Police received a report of a man who appeared to have fallen off of his bicycle and was injured. The person who called police refused to approach the man who fell. Police responded and requested an ambulance for the man, who was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital by Westfield Fire paramedics.
2:59 p.m.: Found property, Ponders Hollow Road. Police received a report of a bicycle that was found in the area of the Tin Bridge. No description of the bike.
3:05 p.m.: Accident, South Maple Street. Police received a report for a minor motor vehicle accident involving a 2004 Hyundai Tiburon and a 2010 Subaru Forester. This was a rear-end accident that had no injuries, airbag deployment or vehicles deemed inoperable.
