8:07 a.m.: Suspicious activity, Ashley Street. Police received a report from a resident who said that there has been suspicious activity around their vehicle. Two weeks ago, they reported, they had the grill of their vehicle and a turn signal lens removed, but did not initially report it to police. Then, overnight they placed baby powder around the vehicle and in the morning noticed foot prints around the vehicle. No suspects or arrests were made.

9:28 a.m.: Accident, Alice Burke Way. Police received a report of a motor vehicle that was hit by another vehicle that had backed into the driveway it occupied and struck the vehicle. The vehicle that was struck was occupied and the occupant complained of hip and leg pain. The person was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital by Westfield Fire paramedics.

2:55 p.m.: Larceny, walk-in. Police received a report from a mother who stated that her son had his sneakers stolen from South Middle School. Police were previously investigating the incident and added the complaint to the report. No arrests made at the time of the report.
