12:37 p.m.: school investigation, Westfield Technical Academy lower campus, 33 Smith Ave., altercation between two students;
1:33 p.m.: accident, Carson Center, “Old Town Hall,” 20 Broad St., 2012 Freightline box truck and 2008 Chevy K1500, no injuries, no tows;
1:55 p.m.: officer wanted, 99 Restaurant, 342 Main St., caller reported seeing a man, who does not have a driver’s license, driving his daughter’s car, driver took off on foot near the restaurant, police found suspect hiding behind K’s Restaurant, Tito A. Pacheco, 34, of 44 Meadow St., arrested on an outstanding warrant as a fugitive from justice on a court warrant;
2:15 p.m.: accident, 12 Shepard St., 1988 Ford versus utility pole, no injuries, vehicle towed, Westfield Gas & Electric notified;
6:35 p.m.: identity fraud, Westfield Police Department, 15 Washington St., party reported identity fraud;
9:06 p.m.: arrest, Main St. at State, parties damaged ATM at Polish National Credit Union, William A. Sampsel, 50, of no known address, arrested on charges of malicious destruction of property over $250 and possessing a Class B drug, subsequent offense, and Melissa A. Melloni, 32, of no known address, arrested on charges of malicious destruction of property over $250 and possessing a Class E drug.
