9:00 a.m.: identity fraud, Western Avenue, a community policing officer reports he was advised by a resident that his email account was compromised and items were fraudulently purchased, the victim was advised to cancel his credit cards;
9:34 a.m.: larceny, Stephanie Lane, a resident reports via the online reporting option that a package which was reportedly delivered was not received, the carrier was notified;
10:41 a.m.: breaking and entering, Russellville Road, a call reports his residence was entered and property was stolen, the responding officer reports that the complainant said that some time since 8:30 a.m. his room was entered and a camera and about $200 in cash was stolen;
11:06 a.m.: accident, Southwick Road, multiple callers report a vehicle crashed into a building, the responding officer reports the elderly operator said that his foot slipped off the brake pedal on to the accelerator pedal causing the car to lurch into the building, no injuries were reported;
11:48 a.m.: animal complaint, Union Street, the director of animal control operations reports he responded to a chicken complaint and removed two birds from a vacant lot;
12:07 a.m.: animal complaint, Forest Avenue, the director of animal control operations reports he responded to a chicken complaint and advised a resident that if he does not remove the chickens at his home within two weeks they will be seized;
12:14 p.m.: breaking and entering, a resident reports via the online reporting option that a male party bought her drinks in a bar all evening and eventually drove her home in her car, the woman said that in the morning she discovered that the contents of both her car and her home had been disturbed and cash and a MP3 player had been stolen;
4:19 p.m.: breaking and entering, Camp Shepard, North West Road, a representative of the camp came to the station to report that a storage shed was broken into, the responding officer reports the man said that 15 archery bows with a total valued of about $2,000 were stolen;
4:42 p.m.: larceny, Princeton Street, a caller reports her son’s smartphone was stolen from his backpack in school, the responding officer reports the caller used the phone’s tracking feature and he spoke with the residents of the address where the system reported the phone to be whose children attend the same school as the victim, the two children emptied their backpacks in the presence of their parents and the phone was found, the officer found that several students had placed their backpacks in a pile during gym class and there is a possibility that the phone was placed in the wrong backpack, the phone was returned to the complainant;
4:30 p.m.: animal complaint, Blueberry Ridge, a caller reports that while he was walking his dog two loose dogs rushed up to them, the responding officer reports the caller was bitten on his shin but declined transport to hospital, a supervisory officer reports that he was able to take custody of one of the dogs and it was returned to its owner;
5:36 p.m.: accident, Southampton Road, a business owner reports that a tractor trailer unit turned around on his property and ran over a flagpole but did not stop, the responding officer reports the trucker was identified and he spoke with the man by phone, the trucker said that he had not realized that he struck anything and agreed to make restitution;
11:41 p.m.: disturbance, Phelps Avenue, a caller reports that a male party who is a former resident and has a child in common with another person at the residence broke in via a window and is attempting to enter the room where the two women are, the responding officers report that the caller said that the suspect banged on the door demanding the occupants come out but left without gaining entry after they said they were calling police.
