6:33 a.m.: officer wanted Cross Street, a caller reports somebody tried to steal her air conditioner, the responding officer reports the air-conditioner appeared to have been disturbed but was intact and in place;
5:56 p.m.: assist resident, a caller reports a male party is passed out on the sidewalk next to a broken liquor bottle, the responding officer reports that the man was found to be intoxicated and had injured himself in a fall, the man was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital;
10:26 p.m.: assist resident, Whitney Playground, Shepard Street, a caller requests an officer to “unlock a fire pit as he is with a group of friends and would like to have a fire”, the responding officer reports that the caller was found to be highly intoxicated and was the subject of outstanding warrants issued by Westfield District Court in 2014 and 2017, Yuriy A. Kontsemal, 28, of 26 Shannon Lane, Westfield, was arrested on the warrants.
