8:15 a.m.: arrest, North Road, a patrol officer reports a routine check of the registration of a vehicle seen operating revealed that the owner was the subject of an outstanding warrant, the vehicle was stopped and the operator was found to be the owner, Raymond G. Kopyscinski, 29, of 29 Grove St., Chicopee, was arrested on the warrant issued by Springfield District Court;
11:08 a.m.: animal complaint, Beveridge Boulevard, a caller reports a kitten has been trapped in one of the traps an animal control officer set, the responding ACO reports the kitten was transported to the municipal animal shelter, the ACO reports she subsequently returned twice and took three more kittens to the shelter;
6:52 p.m.: found property, South Maple Street, a caller reports a gym bag is on her tree belt, the responding officer reports he was able to identify the owner of the bag who is the subject of two active warrants, the officer was unable to immediately contact the owner.
