Westfield
10:33 a.m.: downed lines, Granville Road, a caller reports that a tree branch fell on a set of primary utility wires, dispatch reports that Westfield Gas & Electric responded to the scene, the responding officer reports that the wires broke free from the iron arms and burned through other wires, the officer reports that WG&E fixed the wire then went to fix a nearby fuse that was broken in the incident;
11:23 a.m.: animal complaint, Pequot Point Road, a caller reports that a black and white cat came up to her porch and was acting friendly towards her, the caller reports that she did not want to leave the cat outside so she brought it to the Westfield Regional Animal Shelter.
Southwick
1:21 a.m.: accident with property damage, Buckingham Drive; vehicle left the road onto a rock, no injuries reported; property owner advised of damage;
6:16 a.m.: suspicious activity, Middle Pond; West Suffield resident reports an unmoored boat floating in the middle of Congamond Lake offshore from Chestnut Circle, Suffield; resident later called back to report the boat is now on its way.
