11:55 a.m.: breaking and entering, Southampton Road, a caller reports his son’s vehicle was broken into and property was stolen, the responding officer reports the caller said that a window had been removed from the vehicle and a speaker was stolen;
1:38 p.m.: animal complaint, Westfield Animal Shelter, 178 Apremont Way, an Easthampton resident brought a mother cat and four kittens to the shelter, the woman said that she had seen the felines near her home and was concerned for their well being;
2:06 p.m.: larceny, Atwater Street, a caller reports her son’s bicycle is missing, the responding officer reports the caller said that her son’s unlocked bike was stolen from the side of her house;
3:10 p.m.: larceny, WalMart, 141 Springfield Road, store personnel report a shoplifter is in custody, the responding officer reports the complainant said that two person were seen shoplifting merchandise valued at more than $500, one of the persons was found to be in possession of elicit drugs, Alicia Ann Hansen, 35, of 10 Oakdale Ave., Westfield, was arrested for shoplifting by asportation, a third offense, William Pagan-Rivera, 46, of 106 Noel St., Springfield, was arrested for shoplifting by concealing merchandise, a third offense, and for possession of a Class B drug;
3:53 p.m.: multiple callers reports a motorcyclist was injured in a crash with a a car, the responding officer report the motorcyclist fell off his motorcycle to avoid a crash but is injured, the rider was transported to Baystate Medical Center and his motorcycle was transported to the police impound yard.
