WESTFIELD

 

12:13 p.m.: vandalism, Holland Avenue, the United States Postal Service reports that one of their vehicles was egged while it was parked on its mailing route, the responding officer reports that he was unable to locate anybody in the area;

4:33 p.m.: traffic complaint, Maple Street, a caller reports that a group of youths is riding around on bicycles while yelling obscenities at passing vehicles and threatening to throw items, the responding officer reports that an area search turned up negative for the group of youths;

4:53 p.m.: accident, Franklin Street, a caller reports that they were involved in a motor vehicle accident, the caller reports that a passenger of her vehicle may have been injured, the responding ambulance reports that one person was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital, the responding officer filed an accident report;

7:13 p.m.: accident, Western Avenue, a patrol officer reports that there is a vehicle that appears to have driven off the roadway and into a ditch, the responding ambulance reports that one person refused medical attention, the responding officer reports that one tow truck was requested to remove the vehicle from the scene, the officer reports that a guardrail was damaged after it was struck by the vehicle.

9:19 a.m.: officer wanted, Depot Street, a person wished to speak to an officer regarding abuse at a group home;

1:21 p.m.: officer wanted, College Highway, a resident reports receiving scam calls regarding Amazon.
