1:27 p.m.: accident, Elm Street, a caller reports a pedestrian accident, dual response dispatched, the responding officer reports a 12-year-old boy was struck and transported to Baystate Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries, the officer reports two witnesses reported the the boy was in a crosswalk when he was struck but also reports sightlines obscured by parked vehicles may have been an issue, the investigation is incomplete;
2:08 p.m.: animal complaint, Bartlett Street, an animal control officer reports she responded to pick up an injured pigeon but transported a mourning dove to the Westfield Animal Shelter;
10:52 p.m.: incapacitated person, Main Street, a patrol officer reports he encountered a male party who appeared to be passed out on a Jefferson Street bench, the man was deemed to be unable to care for himself and was placed in protective custody.
