1:16 p.m.: animal complaint, Main Street, an animal control officer reports he learned of a dog which had been left at home alone when its owner was admitted to hospital, the ACO reports she took custody of the dog and transported it to the animal shelter;
3:12 p.m.: well being check, North Road, a caller reports a pedestrian appears to be having trouble navigating, the responding officer reports the man was found to be the subject of five outstanding warrants issued by the Westfield and Holyoke district courts, Paul C. Roy, 45, of Jefferson Street, Westfield, was arrested on the warrants;
3:12 p.m.: larceny, School Street, a resident came to the station to report that his wallet was stolen at a School Street bar, the responding officer reports the victim said that he inadvertently left his wallet atop a game machine in the arcade area of the bar and found it gone when he returned to look for it;
3:59 p.m.: vandalism, Harrison Avenue, a caller described a bicyclist he said had thrown a rock through the windshield of his son’s parked car, the responding officer reports a search of the area did not yield a suspect.
