1:12 a.m.: fireworks complaint, Russell Road, multiple callers report that there are large and loud fireworks being set off in the parking lot of a Russell Road apartment block, the responding officer reports that the remaining fireworks were confiscated;

6:21 a.m.: animal complaint, Western Avenue, a caller reports that he saw what appeared to be a black rottweiler type dog lying down in the roadway and that it appeared to have been struck by a vehicle, the responding officer reports that the dog had serious injuries and would likely have to be put down, the officer reports that the owner of the dog was identified but was unable to be contacted, the officer reports that the dog was removed from the roadway but has passed away;

1:40 p.m.: motor vehicle accident, Southwick Road, a caller reports a possible motorcycle accident, the responding officer reports that two motorcyclists were traveling together when one of them took too wide of a turn going towards a bridge and fell off their bike, the officer reports that the other motorcyclist purposefully stopped and laid their bike down to assist the other, the officer reports that there were no serious injuries and the damage to the motorcycle was only cosmetic;

4:05 p.m.: shoplifting, Southampton Road, a caller from a Southampton Road gas station reports that there is a male customer in the store that is not wearing a mask and has refused to leave when asked several times, the caller reports that the male party also attempted to shoplift some items, the responding officer reports that the male party had left the scene prior to his arrival;

6:22 p.m.: incapacitated person, Granville Road, a caller reports that an intoxicated male party just smashed his friend’s television which resulted in a physical altercation before the male party left on foot, the responding officer reports that the male party appeared to have injuries from the altercation and was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital.

9:42 a.m.: concerned citizen, College Highway, a motorist reports a confused elderly male at the gas station asking various people for directions, a responding officer reports the person did not need services;

8:20 p.m.: disturbance, Depot Street, peace was restored after a disturbance.
