Westfield

8:03 a.m.: vandalism/damage, Springfield Road, a caller reports that the ignition to a company vehicle was removed following the removal of a male party from the property, the responding officers report that Gary M. Brault, 56, of 75 Wendell Ave., Pittsfield, was placed under arrest for vandalizing property and nighttime breaking and entering into a vehicle for a felony;

10:07 p.m.: incapacitated person, McKinley Terrace, a caller reports that an intoxicated guest of her neighbor’s is on her property and broke her door, the responding officer reports that Gennifer Torres, 29, of 76 Benton St., Springfield, was placed under arrest for two counts of assault and battery on a police officer and one count of resisting arrest;

11:20 p.m.: accident, East Mountain Road, multiple callers report that a vehicle struck a telephone pole, the responding medics report that one person was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital, the responding officer reports that the pole was close to falling over and the road would need to be closed while the scene is cleaned up, dispatch reports that Westfield Gas & Electric responded to address the utility pole.

9:23 a.m.: officer wanted, Oak Street, a caller reports that their mail had been tampered with, the responding officer reports that the calling party showed them a cleanly cut envelope.
