8:33 a.m.: fraud, Murray Avenue, a resident came to the station to report he recently opened a credit account which is being misused, the responding officer reports an incident report was filed;
5:29 p.m.: disturbance, Shepard Street, a caller reports a college related disturbance, the responding officers report that about 55 persons were dispersed and peace was restored, a city ordinance violation citation was issued to a male party found to be consuming alcohol in public;
5:55 p.m.: disturbance, Samaritan Inn, 7 Free Street, a caller reports a non-resident is creating a disturbance at the homeless shelter, the responding officer reports a couple came to the shelter expecting food to be available and the male party created a disturbance when told that meals are only provided for residents participating in the shelter’s programs, the couple was sent on their way;
6:09 p.m.: found property, Franklin Street, a caller reports she found some sort of rifle outside near her home and took custody of it for safe keeping, the responding officer reports the rifle was found to be a .177 pellet gun which he transported to the station.
