Monday, Sept. 26, 2016

8:18 a.m.: Breaking and entering and burglary, Southampton Road. Police received a report of a storage container that was broken into after the lock was cut. Police reported that a grinding machine was stolen, estimated at $15,000 in value. No suspects or arrests at the time of the report.

12:39 p.m.: Motor vehicle accident, Friendly’s Way. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a 2007 Jeep Liberty and a 2014 Kia Soul. According to police, the Soul was hit by the Liberty on the right side of the vehicle, then left the scene. However, it was found that the Liberty operator drove the vehicle to a parking lot nearby. No arrests made, but the operator in the Soul was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital by Westfield Fire paramedics.

7:57 p.m.: Breaking and entering, motor vehicle, Scenic Road. Police received a report of a vehicle that was broken into sometime overnight. Victim reported that a Coach bag and money was stolen. No suspects or arrests.
