Major crime and incident report

7:12 a.m.; Accident, Montgomery Road. Police received a report of a rear-end collision involving a 2009 Ford F250 and a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country. Initially police were told that there were no injuries, but later a party who complained about their head hitting the steering wheel opted to go the hospital for evaluation, and requested an ambulance. Westfield Fire paramedics transported the person to Baystate Noble.
7:27 a.m.: Accident, North Road. Police received a report of a two-car accident involving a 2003 GMC Sierra and a 2016 Hyundai Accent. Prior to police arriving on scene it was reported that the driver of the Accent had fled the scene. Police attempted to track the driver but were unsuccessful in finding him at the time of the report.
10:47 a.m.: Motor vehicle theft, Chapel Street. Police received a report of a 1996 Honda Accord that was stolen sometime in the overnight hours. There were no witnesses and no suspects.
