8:19 a.m.: breaking and entering motor vehicle, Brentwood Drive, resident reported that his truck was entered and a customer check was taken;
9:13 a.m.: school investigation, Westfield Middle School South, 30 W. Silver St., investigated/report taken;
3:40 p.m.: accident, Hess Gas Station, 310 E. Main St., minor two-vehicle crash, no injuries, no tows;
4:28 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Auto Zone, 200 E. Main St., Polly E. Harmon, 46, of 49 Taylor Ave., arrested on charges of not being in possession of registration, registration sticker missing, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and possession of heroin;
5:59 p.m.: vandalism, Twin River Burritos, 36 Elm St., online incident report taken;
6:39 p.m.: larceny, China Star, 36 Southwick Road, caller reported that a man came into the restaurant and stole the tip jar, police reviewed surveillance footage, which shows a white man taking the tip jar off the counter and running out of the building;
9:49 p.m.: shoplifting, Walmart, 141 Springfield Road, investigated.
