6:30 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, North Elm Street, a patrol officer reports he observed a vehicle operating without a valid inspection sticker and stopped the car, the officer reports a passenger was known to him and believed to be the subject of outstanding warrants, warrants issued in 2014 and 2016 by the Springfield and Chicopee district courts were confirmed, Kevin E. Laclair, 40, of 72 Franklin St., 2nd Flr., Westfield, was arrested on the warrants;
8:51 p.m.: animal complaint, First Street, a caller reports he found a domestic rabbit in his yard the night before, an animal control officer transported the rabbit to the municipal animal shelter;
4:25 p.m.: larceny, Southwick Road, a caller from a liquor store reports two young teen-aged boys grabbed a handful of nip bottles of alcohol and fled, apparently into the woods behind the plaza, the responding officer reports no suspects were found;
8:13 p.m.: fire, Old Apremont Way, a caller reports a fire on the bank of one of the Hampton Ponds, the responding firefighters report finding fishermen with a citronella candle;
9:07 p.m.: fireworks complaint, Lindbergh Boulevard, a caller reports fireworks in the area, the responding officer reports the source of the fireworks could not be identified;
9:12 p.m.: fireworks complaint, King Place, a caller reports fireworks in the area, the responding officer reports the source of the fireworks could not be identified;
10:50 p.m.: fireworks complaint, Jessie Lane, a caller reports fireworks in the area, the responding officer reports the source of the fireworks could not be identified.
