9:02 a.m.: disturbance, North Elm Street, a caller reports that someone is screaming at her in a parking lot, the responding officer reports the complainant said that a man who she feels has harassed her in the past is in the parking lot and was yelling at her, the officer reports both parties went their separate ways;
12:41 p.m.: accident, East Silver Street, a caller reports he was following a car which was swerving over the roadways before it pulled into a parking lot and struck a parked car, the responding officer reports the minor crash resulted in a scuffed bumper, the car owner was advised, the operator of the offending vehicle was found to be intoxicated, Charles E. Sagan, 54, of 8 Sally Ave., Westfield, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and for negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
