6:33 a.m.: arrest, South Broad Street, pursuant to an ongoing burglary investigation detectives sought a suspect at his workplace, Ramon Gonzalez Jr., 38, of 15 Leonard Ave., Westfield, was arrested for two charges of larceny form a building and one charge of breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony;
6:48 a.m.: found property, Arnold Street, a person came to the station to surrender a cell phone found near near the bus station on Arnold Street;
12:09 p.m.: officer wanted, Knollwood Drive, a caller report her former husband entered her home and took her dog, the responding officer reports the woman said that there is a restraining order in effect and she obtained an extension of that order earlier in the day after the man allegedly threatened to kill her, the woman said that her former husband had threatened to take her dog if she extended the restraining order;
1:22 p.m.: larceny, Franklin Street, a caller reports the theft of her prescription medications while she was away from her home, the responding community policing officer reports that the victim identified a suspect and the incident remains under investigation;
1:29 p.m.: fire, Warfield Drive, a caller reports a house is filling with smoke, the responding firefighters report no fire was found but a plastic container found in the stove was making copious amount of smoke;
3:14 p.m: breaking and entering, Shepard Street, a caller reports he returned to his home to find a window broken, the responding officer reports the victim said that only prescription medications appear to be the only property missing;
6:55 p.m.: disturbance, Casimir Street at Parkside Avenue, a caller reports two persons who appear to be under the influence of something are involved in a physical altercation, the responding officer reports that both persons were found to be in possession of illicit drugs and one is the subject of an outstanding warrant issued in 2019 by the Holyoke district court, Angela Gerasimchuk, 22, of 94 George St., Westfield, was arrested for possession of heroin and possession of a Class B drug and Vladislav Lukin, 21, of 31 Kittredge Drive, Westfield, was arrested for possession of heroin and on the warrant.
