11:50 a.m.: animal complaint, Pearl Street, an animal control officer reports she was attempting to “wrangle a chicken”, the ACO reports a black chicken was taken into custody and transported to the municipal animal shelter;
4:01 p.m.: larceny, East Main Street, a caller from a supermarket reports someone just stole energy drinks valued at “a few hundred dollars”, the responding officer reports the vehicle the suspect left in was described and the investigation is ongoing;
4:10 p.m.: animal complaint, Plantation Circle, a caller report she has confined in her garage two pit bull dogs which were running loose, the responding animal control officer reports she transported the dogs to the municipal animal shelter;
7:54 p.m.: accident, Shaker Road, a detail officer reports a motorist struck a utility pole but did not stop, the officer followed and stopped the vehicle, the responding officer reports there was no apparent damage to the utility pole.
