1:26 p.m.: accident, Montgomery Road, a caller reports that a motor vehicle struck a tree, resulting in injury, the responding officer reports that an animal control officer responded for a dog that was injured in the crash, the responding medics report that one person was transported to Baystate Medical Center, the animal control officer reports that the dog did not survive.
