Major crime and incident report

WESTFIELD

12:08 p.m.: burglary, Skyline Drive, a caller reports a house undergoing renovation was broken into and property was stolen, the responding detectives report entry was gained via a window and a television and other property was stolen, the investigation is ongoing;
2:16 p.m.: larceny, Union Street, a caller from a Union Street automobile retailer reports a catalytic converter was stolen from a car on the lot, the responding officer reports the device was cut from the car, an incident report was filled;
3:03 p.m.: larceny, Malone Avenue, Southwick police relay a report of larceny of motor vehicles, the responding officer reports two dirt bikes were stolen from a garage, the incident was referred to the Community Service Unit;
4:28 p.m.: larceny. Princeton Street, a caller reports her boyfriend’s cell phone was stolen after he briefly left it atop his vehicle, the responding officer reports a suspect was identified and his investigation is ongoing.

 

SOUTHWICK
10:50 a.m.: animal complaint, Lexington Circle, a caller reports a large dog running loose.
1:24 p.m.: officer wanted, College Highway, a woman reports a custody issue and her ex-husband would not return their daughter, the ex stated he did not want to return her due to COVID-19, police referred the subjects to the court.
3:16 p.m.: bylaw violation, College Highway, the Board of Health requests a violation check at a town business.
3:39 p.m.: motorv ehicle complaint, Matthews Road, a caller reports a motorcycle racing up and down the street doing wheelies, officers were unable to locate the subject.
6:34 p.m.: bylaw violation, College Highway, police report that a gym is still operating with eight patrons inside and advised of current regulations.
9:35 p.m.: trespassing, Powder Mill Road, three motocross riders reported on the track, police were unable to locate anyone.
