Major crime and incident report

1:00 p.m.: larceny, Springfield Road, a caller from a Springfield Road department store reports a shoplifter has fled from the store, the responding officer reports that the suspect was found nearby and served with a ‘No trespassing’ order;
3:14 p.m.: assault, Colonial Pine Acres, 50 Southampton Road, a resident came to the station to report that her daughter’s father stuck their child with a slipper, the responding officer reports the resident asked that the incident be documented, an incident report was filed;
4:16 p.m.: animal complaint, Court Street, a caller reports that while walking on Court Street he was bitten by a dog walked by a young girl, the caller said that the girl apologized but left when he asked for her name, the responding officer reports a check of the area did not reveal the girl or the dog;
6:21 p.m.: Heritage Trailer Park, 868 Southampton Road, a caller reports a neighbor is urinating in direct view of her trailer, the responding officer reports there is existing animosity between the two parties and the man was deliberately exposing himself to the woman, a criminal complaint for indecent exposure was filed;
7:44 p.m.: disturbance, Powdermill Village, 126 Union St., a caller reports a known man broke the door of her apartment and she chased him away, the responding officer reports the suspect was found and found to be the subject of an outstanding warrant issued in 2018 by Hampden Superior Court, John A. Sein III, 23, of no fixed address, was arrested for malicious destruction of property valued less than $1,200 and on the warrant.
