7:08 a.m.: accident, Notre Dame Street at North Elm Street, a caller reports a three-vehicle crash, dual response dispatched, the responding officer reports one person was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital and one car was towed to the police impound yard;
9:06 a.m.: vandalism, Meadow Street, a caller reports a window of her car was smashed overnight and two tires were slashed, the responding officer reports that there have been similar incidents reported in the neighborhood recently and an investigation is ongoing;
10:25 a.m.: larceny, Harvard Street, a called reports fraudulent activity on his checking account, the responding office reports forged checks were cashed on a business account, an incident report was filed and an investigation is ongoing;
3:40 p.m.: robbery, Main Street, a caller from a Main Street bank reports a robbery, the responding office reports a man claiming to have a gun robbed the bank and fled on foot, see story in the Friday, Feb. 14, edition of The Westfield News;
3:48 p.m.: fraud, Elm Street, a Ludlow resident came to the station to report fraudulent use of checks, the responding officer reports a number of stolen checks were cashed, an incident report was filed and an investigation is ongoing;
6:10 p.m.: accident, East Mountain Road at Eastview Drive, caller reports her vehicle was struck by a car which did not stop, a second caller reports his vehicle was also struck and he is in pursuit of the offending car, the responding officer reports the second victim was able to stop the suspect car and the operator was found to be intoxicated, Linda A. Syniec, 69, of 339 College Highway, Southampton, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, two charges of leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation, her car was towed to the police impound yard;
8:41 p.m.: larceny, Southwick Road, a resident came to the station to complain of larceny, the responding officer reports the complainant lost a significant amount of money in an on-line larceny by scheme, an incident report was filed and an investigation is ongoing.
